Driving is the most practical option — county and state roads serve the neighborhood and the area is car-friendly with on-site or nearby parking. Walking within the immediate lakeside cluster is easy but distances to grocery, restaurants and services in downtown Sturgeon Bay are several minutes by car. Local taxis and rideshare availability is limited seasonally; consider renting a car for most stays. Door County Cherryland Airport (Sturgeon Bay) handles general aviation and charters; Green Bay–Austin Straubel International (about 35–50 minutes drive) provides commercial flights and rental cars. No direct Amtrak passenger rail to Sturgeon Bay—rail travelers generally transfer via Green Bay or Milwaukee and continue by car or bus.
